Established in 2011, the Oregon City Tankers (OCT) are the first masters swimming team in decades to organize at the Oregon City Pool. The nickname ‘Tankers’ was the name originally given to the competitive AAU team that started here in the late 60s. We are carrying on this great legacy.

That said, our goal is to provide the best training/fitness experience possible for each and every one of our members. Workouts are tailored to skill level and aimed at improved physical fitness, endurance and training for competition. Our coaches have many years of experience on deck and also in the pool dating back to 1972.

If it is your goal to compete as well as getting fit, you will be in good company. We try to attend one meet per month, and Oregon’s Association Championship Meet annually each Spring. These are fun, team- building events that will challenge you to be at your best.

During the Summer months, OCT has an open water swimming program second to none. “The Cove”, our open water training area pictured right, makes our program very unique in that we have a built-in training area about three minutes from the pool… perfect for the open water season and for triathletes training for the big race.
