2024 USMS Spring Nationals Update #1

Bring on the season of swimming in Indy!

We're excited to have over 2,300 swimmers join us for the 2024 USMS Spring National Championship at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis in just 21 days. We're looking forward to putting on a fantastic meet, one of the largest Spring Nationals yet, and we hope you're looking forward to getting in on the Olympic Trials action!

Our Spring Nationals page is your source for the official meet information as well as information about Olympic Trials - Swimming, including travel details (including hotels with discounted rates), results, and live coverage (including a live stream that'll allow your friends, family, and teammates back home to watch you swim).

We'll provide frequent email updates between now and the meet, so stay tuned for important information and enjoy your taper.

Miss out on Spring Nationals merch during meet entry? Looking for extras for friends or family? You're in luck. Select items are still available in the Event Store and will close Monday, June 3 at 11:59 PM. Presale apparel items, along a wide range of additional merchandise, with be available in the USMS Partner Village throughout the event. The Partner Village, located in the Main Concourse, is also your destination for the latest racing gear and your favorite swim products, plus fun prizes and swag.

Hospitality passes which include breakfast, lunch, and snacks are still available in the Event Store through June 6. Check out the meet menu here.

If your plans have changed or you no longer wish to attend, please contact Event Services before the refund deadline of June 4 at 11:59 p.m. to cut down on empty lanes and provide more competitive heats.

Please note that once we take you out of an event, we cannot put you back in.

Swim in the Trials Pool

All USMS members can access a once-in-a-lifetime experience swimming in the Trials pool at Lucas Oil Stadium and meet Olympians including Cullen Jones, Rowdy Gaines, or Missy Franklin. You can still register through the event store if you missed out on this opportunity during the Spring Nationals entry process. Proceeds benefit USMS Adult Learn-to-Swim grants supported by the USA Swimming Foundation. Hurry, space is limited!

Reminder - Per rule 105.1.2, the 2023-2024 USMS Top Ten short course yards season will be extended to include times from 2024 USMS Spring Nationals. The 2023-24 season will end June 24, rather than May 31.

Coaches and Volunteers

Here are two guaranteed ways to get a front row seat to all the action: sign up to be an On-Deck Coach or a volunteer.

The Coaches Committee assigns On-Deck Coaches each day of the meet as a service to all meet participants. These coaches will receive a hospitality pass for the day(s) in which they are assigned to this duty.

Volunteers wanted! Any family and friends attending the meet are encouraged to join in on the action by signing up for a volunteer position. Volunteers are a crucial element to the success of the meet. Contact Event Services if you have any questions.
